My thoughts
Nature really is full of surprises. Normally it would be the bugs that mimic plants for camouflage and all but here we got a plant gone mobile and its surprisingly cute. The cry it makes is just too adorable as well. It makes me feel like watching the chibi version of an otherwise absolutely deadly character. Indeed deadly isn't all that much outta the window here. What looks to be sweet and cuddly can quickly become dangerous when it has Contrary and Leaf Storm. Yes I know, Serperior goes with the same plan and does it better, but not everyone has that one with its hidden Ability... also there's Trick Room to fool those people who point at the speed stat here. Thinking of which, the tropical and live supporting climate of the Alola region seems to make the local Pokémon rather lazy. Or why are so many of them so slow? Maybe from a lack of predators? Who knows... such things are of no concern to the lovable Fomantis here. It just waddles around, minding its own business and is a grassy love magnet.
